Limited Warranty
What is the warranty period?
MOFT Inc warrants that MOFT products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a limited 6-month.
Who is covered and who is not covered?
This warranty covers only the purchases from MOFT official website(www.moft.us), Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
This warranty does not cover products purchased from authorized sales retailers or any other third-party sales channels except the aforementioned crowdfunding sites.
What is covered and what is not covered?
The warranty covers any defects in material and workmanship.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, damage caused by use of product other than for its intended purpose or improper maintenance, or products that have been modified.
- Damage caused by misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, or abuse: including, but not limited to, falls, extreme temperatures, water damage, and improper device operation.
- Damage caused by using the product other than for its intended purpose.
- The use of washing machines and dryers on the product is not recommended, and any resulting damage will not be covered under the warranty.
- Damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance attempts.
- Damage to any other product or device used in connection with the product, excluding the product itself.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Warranty must be made directly to our website or by email to our customer service at cs@moft.us Please include your order number/backer number/contribution ID, and attach a photo (a video of the product in use if necessary) of the product. MOFT will provide you with a replacement or a refund of the purchase of the product.
Regarding shipping costs for the replacement, it will be charged to the recipient if it’s been over 30 days from the date when the product was used.
Sole and exclusive remedy
Your sole and exclusive remedy for a claim covered by this limited warranty. MOFT sole and exclusive liability is to either repair or replace the defective product. Replacement products shall be covered for the remainder of the original applicable product warranty period. They do not extend the original warranty period.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This Limited Warranty is to the extent permitted by law, and is the only express warranty made to you. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOFT DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF MOFT AND ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL BY LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL MOFT OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE. Some states do not allow the limitation of implied warranties last, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
