Why Do I Need A Stand?
You would definitely wonder, I’m doing just fine with my mobile devices in bare-bone(with a phone case if I’m insecure) , why do I need a stand for my devices now?
Here’s the thing, these cases are exceptional in protecting your digital belongings, or simply in making them look great.
We want to do something different—instead of perfecting the device, we want to perfect the way you use them .
It’s a new concept, and we know it’s not that eye-catching as flashy graphics or bullet-proof tests.
If you take a look at the past 10 years, what has changed ergonomically for all these gadgets that you spend most of the time live or work with? Nothing.
The angle is the same, the way you interact with them is the same, with or without all the current accessories.
What has changed is the user. We became obsessed with the information, but did not get the right way to read or watch them, hence we got the bad backs, sore necks, and clumsy hands reaching for the top-end of a big-screen.
These are not how we should use our devices, that’s why a stand matters.
First of all, it got, well, different angles.
Whether you are typing, reading, watching, or swiping, these angles provide much more natural gestures for you to do all the pixel stuffs with right eye-viewing angle, neck tilt, and wrist comfort. From our personal experience, a stand makes every movement much less of a joint labor, you will get a feeling that they are working for you, not the other way around.
The second problem is about co-existence.
As an accessory, it is important that it act like one—for most of time, the leading role is still your device, and that sets the limit of what we can do. It must be compact enough to not take up too much space(and that also contributes to a sexier product shape), and as utilized enough to trade the expense of taking your additional space. Finally, the price—we got three main concerns: it’s an accessory, it’s a good one, it should be on everyone’s hand/desktop.
Everything that MOFT delivers the same qualities that we mentioned above, and we want to skip all the commercial propaganda, just a simple story.
We believe that technology serves people, and we want it to serve better.
